2019: Happy New Year!
Here we are. We’ve survived. We’re maybe a little hungover but we’re still good… Mostly.
As 2019 is fresh. I mean FRESH. I figured it’s a good time to shout about setting goals and objectives for the year ahead. Failing to plan is planning to fail and all that jazz, right?!
No time like the present. Lickety-split! Sorry, I think I just channelled my inner Arnold Rimmer. Maybe I am a little worse for wear…
Anyway. Let’s get to it.
So you may recall a while ago I posted about my #lifegoals for 2019.
Well, I thought I would revisit the goals I laid out and see if anything has changed, or if I can add to the list. Here goes.
- Spend time with important people.
- Become fitter and mentally free.
- Improve skills.
- Buy a house.
- Travel more
- Make more of an effort with important people.
- Workout, eat fresh and meditate.
- Research tips and tricks, and attend training.
- Spend less, save more.
- Search cheap travel.
I can categorically say that I am 100% on board with the above.
I absolutely want to spend more time with the important people in my life and I’m really looking forward to making more of an effort to do this.
I really don’t know why but in 2018 I feel like this is one of the areas of my life that has suffered while everything else has been going on.
I’m also very much looking forward to exploring photography further and I have taken steps to improve my skills by registering on a beginners photography workshop on 27th January (I’ll be blogging about that for sure!).
Aside from this, I’ve been spending quite a bit of time researching different photography techniques along with tutorials on Adobe too. I am DEDICATED to learning.

Health and fitness
I like to start out with the positives, but I know I have been failing myself over the holiday season in terms of my mental and physical well-being…
After writing my first blog on lifegoals I started meditating and was eating well but over the month of December, I won’t lie, that all went out the window!! I am back on it and I will be back stronger than ever!
In 2019 I will be writing more about my weight loss journey. I will be posting more amazing recipes that I love and want to share with you on my Facebook Page and I’ll also be sharing some of my workouts with you too through Thursday Fit Club.
The next level up in life achievements in 2019 is for my husband and me naturally to own our own home.
As much as we like our current house, we really want somewhere that is ours to grow into and not have to worry about dealing with landlords and all the hassle that can bring.
I should add that I currently have no problem with my landlord but we very much want OUR space.
I also want to make more of an effort to travel more. Travel to places we have not been to, and also revisit some much-loved locations such as Scotland (you’ll always have a piece of my heart).
Our plan is to visit Amsterdam, Berlin, Edinburgh and also to fit in a holiday in the sun – destination
